Consequences of Global Warming on Wildlife

Wildlife is important to maintain the ecological balance and preserve the food and cycle chain. Their existence has helped a lot to maintain the ecosystem and lives of many. Their absence and many other issues like pollution, deforestation and climate change have brought various consequences of global warming on wildlife. Due to global warming, the habitat of wildlife is getting rare and infrequent on earth.

Consequences of Global Warming on Wildlife

In the first place, there comes the concern of the home for the wildlife. Earth is the only home for them. If global warming effects the earth, it straightly affects the wildlife and the place where they live. The effect of pollution on soil adversely destroys the plants. The pollution in air and destruction of forests immediately effects various birds species and animals.

Wildlife prefers healthy and beneficial habitat. They adjust in the environment where the temperature is satisfying the wild species. During their lifetime they need fresh water for support their health. Above all, they require sufficient food and places to raise their young children.

Temperature

The sudden rise  and decrease in the temperature make the animals and plant species difficult to survive according to with temperature. Especially the rise in the temperature of the ocean have led to severe coral bleaching to ocean species. The significant rise in the temperature does not support some sort of creatures. As a result, it causes them to extinct. Polar bears are vanishing accordingly due to global warming melting of ice at poles.

Food

Some animals or birds are different from others. Because there is a change in climate, it makes difficult for food’s availability for the species who schedule for food according to with the climate. Their food includes insects and plants.

Water

Soil erosion due to flood endangering the habitat and impurity in water sources are the major consequences of global warming. The drought of water resources also kills plants, insects, birds, reptiles and giant animals.

Places to raise offspring

Shortage of water and thirst forces the green lands to dry very quickly. This also forces the little ones of wild living  to survive in a painful and tough way. The rise in the temperature of the sea makes tough for the aquatic animals to breed and raise their babies after their birth.
