If you have seen Avengers: endgame, you might have been wondering what’s coming next from the Marvel cinematic universe. Avengers: endgame marks the end of an era and beginning of the new one. 10 Upcoming Marvel Movies After “Avengers Endgame”
1. Spiderman: Far from Home (July 2, 2019)
It is the last film in phase 3 and the first after Avengers: Endgame. The plot will see spiderman team up with Nick Fury in order to take on the threat of Mysterio and monstrous elements who are tearing through the continent.
2. Black Widow (Likely May 2020)
Marvel has confirmed that Black widow is getting her own stand solo movie. This will be prequel movie of Black Widow. The filming set due to start in June.
3. Black Panther 2 (Likely 2021)
The critically acclaimed Black Panther became the first superhero movie to ever be nominated for the best picture. Ryan cooler is set to return as writer-director but so far he hasn’t dropped any hints about the plot.
4. Doctor Strange 2 ( Likely 2021)
Doctor strange played a major role in Avengers: Infinity war and seems to have been set up as a major player in future of MCU after
Avengers: Endgame. Benedict Wong has suggested filming would begin later this year.
5. Shang-Chi (Unknown)
Another unexpected priority for Marvel after Avengers: endgame, Shang-Chi will be a martial arts movie. No details have yet emerged about this movie.
6. Guardians of the Galaxy Vol.3 (Likely 2023)
One of the Marvel’s most troubled productions Guardians of the Galaxy Vol.3 looked like it may never happen after writer-director James Gunn was fired over social media messages. Production of the movie is expected to begin in 2021, which essentially prepares this for a 2023 release.
7. Eternals (unknown)
Marvel has begun casting for a movie based on the Eternals, an evolutionary offshoot of the human race. Angelina Jolie and Kumail Najiani have signed on this project.
8. Captain Marvel 2 (unknown)
After such a fantastic box office success of captain marvel, she is sure to get a sequel for her movie.
9. Another superhero team up Movie (unknown)
After the box office success of Avengers: endgame, it’s hard to imagine that Marvel would give up the chance to make more superhero team-up movies. They will probably drop Avengers name, but our guess is that a new team will emerge will occasionally have to join forces to stop particularly massive movies.
